Jamie did a BA and later taught at St Martin’s School of Art London and also graduated from the documentary directing MA from The UK’s National Film and Television School.

He is currently in post production of his first feature-length documentary for cinema release; an affectionate, behind the scenes exploration of the Junior Eurovision Song Contest and growing up in Europe today. Produced by Number 9 films and funded by The UK Film Council, New Cinema Fund and The British Documentary Film Foundation.

He is also writing a comedy/fiction feature script for Film4 having won Film4’s development deal 06 competition and researching a project for BBC documentaries having won BBC Documentary development deal 07.

Jamie was selected for Screen International’s ‘Stars of Tomorrow 06’ issue and has also directed live action and animation for 4Creative, The Observer Food Monthly, Nokia and popular music band The Manic Street Preachers (in collaboration with ’05 Turner Prize winning artist Jeremy Deller). He has also executive produced 3 series of 3 minute wonders for Kate Vogel at C4.

He has just been signed to Academy Films to direct music videos.
