Fashion show

If you ask yourself why the concept for fashion show is called “give and be given” you will receive an answer to that question in lines that follow.

Magdalena team just didn’t want to give up the idea of having a fashion show as a part of the festival event. But there were funds from nowhere.
With the aim of supporting this kind of designers practice and with the help of Magdalena friend we have decided. We are going to have it!
And the idea based on Baudrillard critics o production, exchange and consumption was born.
The concept is based on transfer and integration of emotion from back stage to the forefront. Integration of emotions of panic, tension and fear from backstage to the forefront of red carpet. Music is filling the space creating the emotion of reality since the screams and sounds are not the farce but the part of the carpet., part of the scene.
The artist which has been able to recognize in the concept of give and be given are following:
Iggy Popović and Nives Dančulovič - fashion designers which will present their collections.
Barbara Brenčič and Boba - makeup artists. Kazina dancers….
Nikolina Jelić – interior designer responsible for the integration of the concept into the space.
Bojana Kovačič Zemljič – accessory designer.
